About The Foundation
About the Foundation We’re Supporting
There’s an increase in the number of cases of suspected abuse and neglect in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, particularly those from Africa and the Middle Eastern. This stresses the need to provide more culturally appropriate services for the CALD community in Victoria.
Clay Foundation seeks to empower CALD communities by providing services that will enhance family life for them. This foundation aims to deliver the following:
– A free and efficient platform for individuals, teenagers and families to access support through mentorship and mediation, and
– Education to develop bicultural and relationship building skills.
Clay Foundation recognises that every family is unique, and each case will be supported by trained counselors and mentors who will work holistically with each family to determine the best needs-based approach.
